Sad! I can't make it work on my & Windows Live Mail. I'm moving to Windows 7 and tried first installing WLM in my Windows XP partition. No way, Spamfighter doesn't work!

I can't use Outlook Express in Windows 7 so, what shall I do?

Spamfighter Installation Problem

When I'm installing the program, it asks me for my email and a password. After write both thing I click "next" but the program does not move forward so I cannot install it. What do I have to do ? I enabled windows firewall. I use Avast as antivrus and I enabled the Net shield and Web portection. I still cannot install Spamfighter.

dowloading mail hangs up a bit

Spamfighter is a good program, no doubt about that. But I have an issue that discourages me from using it on a regular basis. I have Thunderbird email client and when I click on "get mail" the first message or two are downloaded and then the program seems to hang for as much as 10 seconds before downloading the rest. I thought that when Thunderbird was compacting folders that would be making Spamfighter hang until the compacting was done. So I tried to compacting manually and see if that was the issue. But Spamfighter still hangs for that 10 seconds before downloading mail.

Is slow-pcfighter cleaning everything that has to be clean on a computer and lives the computer clean as it is after a new instalation?

Is slow-pcfighter work on windows 7, 64-bit system?

SPAMfighter still filters domains / senders identifies as Safe

Often I have wanted emails captured and thrown in the SPAMfighter folder. Because I want emails from these contacts I right-click, select Junk E-Mail and add the sender and the domain to the safe senders list. Why do they still keep getting thrown into the SPAMfighter folder? Often I'll have a different emails from the same sender but one goes to the InBox and one to the SPAMfighter folder.

I get 100's of emails a day sent to the SPAMfighter folder (a good thing) but then I have to browse through those a couple of times a day to find the ones I need.

I work remotely from a home office and the server is elsewhere. I do not have a SPAMfighter toolbar nor can I find a way to add it. It may be that I'm adding to a Safe list but it's a Safe list in Outlook and it's not updating a SPAMfighter Safe list.

Thoughts?

Bought and tried out SlowPC-fighter. And it finds and deletes a lot of stuff, apparently. But it does not make your PC any faster. And Vista start-up is still slow.

I will recommend all my contacts NOT to get conned and buy this worthless ....

Hello,

I have been using SpamFighter non-PRO for quite a while now in my home-environment, but since I last installed it under Windows 7 w/ Outlook 2003 I get bothered with the "PRO expired" box. Now that would not be bad, but telling it that I want to keep using the free one is not possible because it fails to send. Message box says "An error occured ...",

I stumbelded over another post concerning this message and a tool to verify the connection.

I ran this tool and it came back with no connection issues, all "OK", but still I can't switch it. I don't have the money to go shopping at this time so any help would be appreciated here.

AS a user with spamfighter mail gateway (SMG) running on my server, i recieve mostly clean email in my outlook.

When I do get some spam passed thru to outlook, how can I report it to the global database?

Lost SPAMfighter toobar in Outlook 2003

When I installed SPAMfighter a few months ago I had the toolbar, now it is gone ! I have reinstalled SPAMfighter but to no avail. Any ideas out there ?

i use outlook to download 7 email accounts, does spamfighter scan all accounts coming in, or just the specified account when signing up?

So there's a lot of space for improvement .

Compared to Ccleaner and Glary Utilities, its not worth the money. Ccleaner and Glary are free.

SPAMfighter Toolbar

Is there a way to move the SPAMfighter toolbar elsewhere in Thunderbird? It sticks out like a sore thumb as the only thing in it's own toolbar below my main mail toolbar. If not, are there any plans to make it so or are there any extensions I may have missed?

Spamfighter Not Showing in Toobar or Folders

I completed a 'successful' install of Spamfighter on my new computer which uses Windows Vista and Windows Mail 6.0...

However, Spamfighter does not appear in the toolbar or the folders.

I have been using Spamfighter for a long time now on other XP computers using Outlook Express.

outlook and website issues after running slow-pcfighter

anyone had problems with outlook connecting to mail server or website not loading flash or images after running slow-pcfighter?

all ok after i restored the registry but as i don't know which files to omit from the registry clean i can't delete any of them so no point in having slow-pcfighter.

i'm using outlook 2003and mozilla firefox is my browser

When running the app it stops with message "Illegal movement of system-DLL's". (translate from danish).

And then a further message concerning user32.dll being moved in memory and that SHELL32.dll is using the adress-space reserved for Windows DLL-files.

So SLOW-PCfighter will not run on my PC.

Any ideas how to get it started?

Is your product really ready?

I have recently bought SlowPC fighter, based upon the good reputation of Spamfighter Pro I use for some years now.

I must say that until now I am rather disappointed.

I have had problems doing several things, and see there is now real help faq, except for some installation questions, no helpfile worth that name and just have a look at this support forum, with only 1 posted question until now.

I really get the feeling I have paid for being a beta-tester, and normally it should not be.

Practical questions I have put through to your support:

1) No way to fill items into the "Ignore List" And I need that because SlowPc cleans up keys it shouldn't.

2) When editing the "program startup list" and Apply, I get errors "Error=0"

Once again: No explication, no helpfile.

I think you get the picture by now.........

Can I update from Spamfighter MailGateway to Spamfighter

Using Courier Email program so I have downloaded the Mailgateway version. Have not yet installed it.

My question is: if I decide I like Spamfighter after the trial period can I upgrade to the Pro version from the MailGateway version or is there no upgrade from that program ?

lost my whole inbox in Outlook Express when deleting spamfighter

hi-we are very happy with your programme on Outlook,but when deleting it from Outlook express( due to slowing it down too much) it deleted the inbox,much to my disgust.

-what can we do-I see a .dbx file still exists upon searching the computer???

OUTLOOK CRASHES WHEN I RECEIVE MAIL

I've been using Spamfighter Pro for ages, but recently it updated itself and since then it has caused mayhem with my Oulook 2000. When I receive emails, it takes them 32 at a time, and waits for 5 minutes before loading the next 32. As I get about 600-800 spams a day, this means that receiving my email is impossibly long. When I do a send/receive, Outlook crashes, and I have to use ctrl-alt-del to exit Outlook, then start Outlook again. When I do that, the previous actions have been carried out, apparently OK. It's a nightmare. I've run the repair option twice, with no improvement. Any help appreciated.

I have already tryed to remove and reinstall spamfighter (whole process with remove.exe) but it's always the same...

I'm running Vista x64 SP2 and outlook 2007 US SP2

shopping pop ups

I have recently been plagued by pop ups from various companies. This I don't like.

But what is more worrying various shopping outlets are sending advertisments to my personal contacts in my Hotmail account. To my further annoyance they are saying I have sent them.

Two questions: How do they get into my personal account and how do I stop it?

anybody out there installed this so called software, if so i strongly suggest you get rid A.S.A.P. its nothing more than a TROJAN & MALWARE PROGRAMME! Take my word, it stops any of your security software from identifying it on your pc, if you dont believe what i'm telling you, then go ahead & try uninstalling the programme either via "control panel" or thro' the programme itself, you wont be able to either 'cause it hasn't even got the "uninstall" file within the programme itself. It took me an age to uninstall manually, because thats the only way you can. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I will be watching the forum with intrepidation as to what your own findigs are!!!

PS. I've emailed the producers of this so called "security prog'me" with my heartiest feelings towards them.

Cannot install SpyFighter in a LAN with internet through ISA Server 2004

I am not able to test SpyFighter in our LAN as the installer is not able to get the .cab files present on your servers.

This happened also with SpamFighter but the workaround was to get the complete installation package and not the web installation package.

As I was not able to find a complete installation package for SpyFighter, I am just requesting if you can provide it.
