Sad!  I can't make it work on my & Windows Live Mail.  I'm moving to Windows 7 and tried first installing WLM in my Windows XP partition.  No way, Spamfighter doesn't work!

I can't use Outlook Express in Windows 7 so, what shall I do?

Hello, thank you for using SPAMfighter,

For the time being, SPAMfighter supports POP3 accounts in:
* Outlook 2000(XP), 2002(XP), 2003, 2007
* Outlook Express
* Windows Mail (not to be confused with Windows LIVE Mail) 32 bit only
* Thunderbird 2.0
Note that Outlook 2000 and 2002 are not officially supported by Microsoft on Vista, hence SPAMfighter might not live up to its full potential. Remaining clients are fully supported.

We hope to be ready with a version for other email applications soon.
Would you like to know when we have a solution for your email program?

How did you manage to get "Windows Mail"  into Win7, instead of  " Windows Live Mail" ?

I met same problem, Spamfighter working with Live Mail.

 How do I get Windows Mail ? I had Vista working with "Windows Mail" ,but changed that to Windows 7.

I know Spamfighter-crew is working on solution for the problem, but don't like to work without a spamfighter.

greetings

I am sorry to say that "Live Mail" is not running by default in Windows 7.

This link is a guide on the Microsoft forums that may help you get it working on Windows 7. Please try looking at their solution and let us know if you have success! We are working on new versions but I do not have a timeframe on relase.

I hope this is helpful

John,

Thanks, I'll try. Not sure, if I have to copy from Vista or is it also hidden in Win7 ??

When in Vista, I'll have to install the "beast" again.

regards

I am sorry to say it is not included in WIndows 7.

If you move it over please let us know how it works for you.

You also could get SPAMfighter working in Windows 7 if you use the email program "Thunderbird" it is free and you can download it here:

I hope this helps

john,

--copied " Windows Live Mail " from Windows 7 (including all mails etc.) to a separate Storage partition on my HD.

--removed directory Windows Live Mail ( could not find an uninstall in Control )

-- cleaned registry ( Registry Mechanic)

--copied "Windows Mail" from Vista ( installed on second computer ) and pasted it in Windows 7, after removing the old one.

--made my email-account

--imported all data from stored Windows Live Mail including Contacts.

 Works all very good to me, and Spamfighter is back in business !!!

regards,

A.Hoogerwerf

Spamfighter works in Windows 7 64 bit with my old 2002 version of Outlook but hasn't appeared in Windows Live Mail.

Please let me know if you find a solution!

Many thanks

Hi John,

Do you have a rough date of when spamfighter will be available for windows 7 Live Mail?

I have used to for many years with no problem on vista and begining to miss it from windows 7.

Hello,

I'm sorry but I don't have a release date...

You could install "Windows Mail" (32bit) and use SPAMfighter on Windows 7, but right now I am not sure when our live mail program will be ready

I hope this helps
