Hello all,
Earlier today when starting Outlook 2003 (running on XP SP3) Outlook said it was recovering from an error where the spamfighter add-in did not close correctly.
Upon starting Outlook I noticed that my spamfighter toolbar was gone. When I go into the Tools > Options > Other > COM Addins area, I see the spamfighter add-in is unchecked. When I check it and hit OK, it does NOT take affect. I go right back and it shows it still unchecked.
I've uninstalled SPAMFighter and reinstalled it, ran Outlook Detect and repair options... to no avail. Am I missing something here? Help!!
I would like to get that toolbar back. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions??
Hello; we should be able to help you with this problem.
It could be that another security program on your PC is disabling SPAMfighter, you may need to turn off any program that is scanning your PC for malware or virus and then try installing SPAMfighter.
If this does not help the problem could also be that Outlook 2003 (Office) is not updated. Please follow the guide on this page to update your Outlook: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/870924
If you have any questions or see any error messages please post the text here and tell me what you see when the problem occurs so I can help
