I recently installed Thunderbird 8.0 then downloaded the SPAMfighter Pro (Trial Version). Both were installed for the first time

It appeared to load successfully but I couldn't find it anywhere in the system.  I use Windows 7 and looked in All Programs as well as in Search Programs and Files. The only programs that I found were 1) SPAMfighter Installation Package and 2) Buy SPAMfighter Pro.

I also deleted the program and downloaded again, directly from the SPAMfighter internet site and also using keys in Thunderbirds Inbox as suggested in this forum . . . but still couldn't find it.

Any thoughts and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Please try to see if it's possible to reactivate the SPAMfighter addon:

* In Thunderbird, go to Tools -> Add-ons.
* Select Extensions and click Enable next to the "SPAMfighter Toolbar for Thunderbird".
* Click the Restart Thunderbird button.

When Thunderbird restarts, the SPAMfighter toolbar will be back.

Mihai,

Thanks for your prompt response.  It works!

One other question: In Tools; Account Settings; Junk Settings; Trust Junk Mail Headers Set By a) SpyAssassin or b) SpamPal . . . I've checked SpyAssassin.

Question 1) How does SpyAssassin interact with SPAMfighter.

Question 2) Is their any documentation on how these programs work? . . . and

Question 3) Is there a way to report spoofing, phishing and spam?

Again, thanks

Dear Neil,

Thank you for letting me know that the toolbar is back. You can use the Block button on a spam that is in your Inbox to report it as spam to our servers. There is no need to do anything else on the mails that arrived directly in the SPAMfighter folder, as we already know about them.

I cannot comment on the other anti-spam programs. In general, they should not interfere much with each other. However, a common thing that could happen is that other programs find the spam from the SPAMfighter folder and mark it as spam or move it to their own folders.

You can do this also, Run the SPAMfighter System Diagnostics tool (Start -> All Programs -> SPAMfighter -> Support tools -> SPAMfighter System Diagnostics) in order to gather more information about SPAMfighter and the problem.

Im a nobody.. nobodys perfect.. therefore IM PERFECT!!!

Dear amandasmith,

Thanks for the willingness to help, but that answer refers to another program.
