Often I have wanted emails captured and thrown in the SPAMfighter folder. Because I want emails from these contacts I right-click, select Junk E-Mail and add the sender and the domain to the safe senders list. Why do they still keep getting thrown into the SPAMfighter folder? Often I'll have a different emails from the same sender but one goes to the InBox and one to the SPAMfighter folder.

I get 100's of emails a day sent to the SPAMfighter folder (a good thing) but then I have to browse through those a couple of times a day to find the ones I need.

I work remotely from a home office and the server is elsewhere. I do not have a SPAMfighter toolbar nor can I find a way to add it.  It may be that I'm adding to a Safe list but it's a Safe list in Outlook and it's not updating a SPAMfighter Safe list.

Thoughts?

Please do not add them to the safe senders list in Outlook, as it will have no effect.

In fact, I recommend that you turn off Outlook's feature named "automatic mail filtering". This is because Outlook doesn't necessarily detect more spam than SPAMfighter - it merely finds the emails in the SPAMfighter folder and moves them to its own folder.

In Outlook, click on "Tools" > "Options" > "Junk email" and select "No automatic filtering".

To mark emails as safe, please install the SEM Client toolbar, which you can find in the SEM Administration page, under "Filters" -> "Toolbar".
